Search the App store for Googl Keep desktop client and this is the most likely candidate for an unobtrusive, Google Keep sync list for your desktop. KEEP THIS APP CLOSED unless you want to dedicate all your RAM to keeping a notes app always in the background. This app is a resource behemoth, I keep it closed and when I need it I open with Spotlight keyboard shortcuts OR use Hazel app OR Alfred app to quickly open this app and take a note.
